Description
|
Wenchuan earthquake left many typical of valuable earthquake ruins for scientific research. They are the spiritual and cultural wealth for all humankind’s. It will have important practical and historical significance to scientifically develop and protect these valuable ruins whether for exploring the destructive law of earthquake disaster, or commemorating the victims, warning of future generations and raising public awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation. The session will focus on protection of Wenchuan earthquake ruins, development and post-earthquake restoration to discuss the important significance of strengthening the protection of the earthquake ruins and the experience and enlightenment in the world.
